Creature in the Night: Yinmu
Meet Yinmu, an Amphbrallinae Lumileoni.
Habitat: Jungle & large lakes
They are amphibian-like, bioluminescent creatures that are semi-aquatic and have strong regenerative abilities. They have leafy features as their tail and all over their body, this trait is similar to their habitat plants which provides them with camouflage against their predators. This and along with their saliva, contains a neurotoxin that would slowly kill their target. These parts of their body glows bright, luminous blues like the plants in their environment. A lumileon is usually in bluish-purple colour, normally poisonous traits would be a bright red or orange but lumileoni has blue enzymes that act as a cover to deceive their prey and predators. Lumileoni live in humid climates and are omnivorous creatures living in families of 10-12 in large packs of up to 150. They are social creatures that mate for life, they mark their mate through bite and their toxins mix in with each other. They are quite docile creatures, that are intelligent, playful, and like to sing. They have a unique set of eyes that have circular polarized vision, and sixteen photoreceptors which allows them to see more colours, which are invisible to the human eye. Their large, squared pupil allows them to have a wide view, of 300° around them. Lumileoni have 6 antennas on their heads that have electroreception senses and it also provides a means of communication through brain waves to one another. The lumileoni's main predator is the Draciformes Apiraedax, a nocturnal, sky creature with tough scales and resistance to the lumileoni poison.
A lumileon, Yinmu, was born as a defect so he is quite unsociable unlike the rest of his kind. Yinmu was born with less blue enzymes causing his body to have more pink hues, in addition to that, his poison is also quite wear. Due to this, he is more vulnerable as he stands out among the blue hues of his environment and his lack of poison decreases his chances of survival, from protection against predators and in catching prey. In order to survive, he has gained the ability to release hallucinogens with a slight paralysis effect to protect himself. As he is different from the rest of his kind, Yirmu does not fit in and tends to wander out of his pack alone. He cares not for interaction between his kind, and his seemingly indifferent and unsocially difficult personality has made his family grow tired from caring for him. Yinmu, who has not known love, longs for a place where he could belong, he likes to stare at the sky and look at the stars, wondering what is out there in this vast world he lives in. Then one day, he encountered a dangerous situation, little did he know that this encounter would be the start of a new beginning.
Yinmu often went out of his pack's boundaries, going to his usual favourite hideout, the pond, his sanctuary. This is the only place where he can safely be himself without the judging eyes of his pack. However, one day, he was spotted by his worst predator, the apireadax. He is chased and as he continues to run, when he finally manages to evade this dangerous situation, he realizes that he is lost. Yinmu wanders around for days, tired and injured, and he reaches the conclusion that he has gone too far from his pack. Yinmu continues to wander looking for a new place to rest and regenerate when he encounters two creatures, an unlikely, and uncommon pair of friends. It is a Sylvidae Bovilagus called Sol, and a Kirinae Regatigris, Kyrix. A predator and a prey who is quite the eccentric and lazy duo, which probably is what brought them together from their two similar characteristics. Yinmu thought he finally had a place where he can fit in and find happiness.

They are rabbit-like creatures known for their nimble speed and maneuvering abilities. Their strong hind legs provide them the ability to jump high as well. They are small creatures in this world and when full-grown can reach up to half a meter in height. Bovilaguses are herbivores and have a diet consisting mainly of fruits and flowers. They have light-colored furs and have known features of a long singular horn on their heads with big long ears enabling far hearing, and a long, shrub-like, puffy tail which can turn sharp and emit electricity. They live in small families consisting of 5-10. Bovilaguses live in both warm and cold climates but tend to migrate and move around between the west and the east lands following the spring seasons as they have a love of spring fruits. They are not the greatest swimmers, so most are scared of the water as the dangers of predators in those areas provide them with fewer chances of survival. They can store water and food in their stomachs without digesting so they have no need to eat or drink frequently when traveling.
Looking at Sol’s past, when he was only a few years old, his family was killed on their way to the east during their migration. They fell into a trap and were herded by predators, surrounded, the family fought to survive but with no luck, as the youngest in the family, his siblings protected him and provided him the chance to run while buying time for his escape. Sol ran and ran until he no longer heard the growls and the screams. Scared he hid under tree roots, staying there for days on end. When he thought everything was quiet and peaceful again, his desire to find his family brought him to the area of the incident and found that there is no trace of his family proving they were still alive. There were only the bloody stains on the ground showing obvious marks of the feeding on his family. Sad and lost on what to do, he wanders around, with no family to help him feed, he slowly tires out from his hunger, until Kyrix finds him.
Meeting this regatirgris, Sol thought he was done for. He was scared to die yet he also thought that maybe then he would be able to see his family again after his death, in the afterlife. He thought there was no point in living without his family. He was lost, he had no purpose, nor any reason to continue moving on. He looked at the menacing predator on top of him waiting for the beast to rip him apart to pieces with those large canines of his, yet surprisingly, the regatigris looked towards his eyes and then turned and walked away. Sol becomes stunned at this unexpected turn of event, he gets up and looks at the regatigris as he walks away and out of sight. As the days go by, Sol continues to wander, although he seems to be sticking around the regatigris’ territory, waiting for a chance to spot that beast again. When he sees the regatigris rising up from his bath in the river, he lurks from afar as a curiosity for this beast fills his mind from the day he spared him. Sol finds himself following the beast around and as the regatigris is a top predator of this territory, Sol finds himself easily able to find food and shelter. He continues to shadow the creature around. The regatigris seemed to have found him out and appeared annoyed at Sol for his actions as he turned around and roared at him. Frightened, Sol ran, however when he looked back to see the beast chasing after him, he saw otherwise, the regatigris instead turned back around and walked away. Confused, Sol continued his days following him from afar. Sol lost his family young, he longs for comfort, for interaction, for a family again, and he feels with this beast, he can gain what he had lost.

Creature in the Night: Kyrix
Meet Kyrix, the Kirinae Regatigris.

A carnivorous creature known for their strength, being approximately 5 meters long and 2 meters tall, they have a resemblance to tigers and have an armor-like mane around their neck that also grows along their spine to the end of their tail. Their strong armored skin can release heat and fire. They are usually dark in colours ranging from blues to purple and have stripes along their body that glows at night. Regatigris can live in all kinds of climates, however they prefer the warm weather as they like to swim in the cool waters.
Kyrix has always felt like something was missing, like there was a part of him that felt empty. He realized after reaching his adolescent years that it was loneliness. His kind are supposedly solitary creatures, the mother leaves the young after a few months. He is even different compared to his kind, usually regatigris are active creatures, however, Kyrix is actually quite the lazy character. One day on his unmotivated venture out for prey, he encounters a bovilagus, who he will later be known as a close friend, Sol, trying to hide amongst the plants in his surroundings. Kyrix sees a vulnerable child, not that much younger than himself. Pouncing onto the small creature, their eyes meet and he sees a variety of emotions mixed in those eyes of the bovilagus. He sees fear, and desperation to live, yet there is also confusion, and a sense of hopelessness. Unlike any predator, instead of an opportunity for a meal, he instead feels pity and leaves the poor bovilagus alone and walks away.
Days go by, and Kyrix lives an uneventful life, of mainly sleeping and eating. As he continues on with his days, he realizes that there is a shadow ever so slightly following him wherever he goes. He investigates to find out who has been tailing him, and finds out it was the bovilagus that he spared a while ago. Kyrix finds this behaviour annoying so he tries to scare the bovilagus away, however he always came tailing after him no matter what. Turns out he has been sticking close to Kyrix after that fateful day of sparing his life and has become quite attached to Kyrix. After his attempts to get the bovilagus to go away fails, he gives up and lets the creature do whatever he wants. He remains indifferent to the actions of the bovilagusand sometimes even expects to see the small herbivore cutely following him. However one day, when he is out walking, he finds himself feeling disappointed when he could not see the small bovilagus following him as usual, he looks around and starts to get worried. He then hears something from afar, and quickly goes to check it out. Reaching the place of the sound, he finds the bovilagus there cornered by another predator. He roars and attacks, scaring the predator away. Walking towards the bovilagus, he sees that he is shaking with fear, and feels pain from his heart. Coming closer, he motions to pick up the small creature, hesitating only just for a moment as he sees the herbivore flinch. Carrying the bovilagus by the neck in his mouth, he walks back to his cave, and settles the creature down. He then walks to his make-shift bed and lies down for his afternoon nap. As he closes his eyes, he hears the soft and slow, shuffled footsteps hesitating to come near him. Then he opens his eyes to see the herbivore cuddle up his tiny self near his big body and Kyrix brings the bovilagus closer towards him as he closes his eyes feeling the sleep come. Since then, they have started to get closer and closer to each other, becoming not only inseparable friends but also a family. Soon after, the two meet Sol, and Kyrix has realized that the emptiness he had always felt since he was a child has been filled, and even more so when Yinmu joins this group of friends.

An omnivorous scavenger belonging to the canine family. A solitary creature until it's found a mate and creates a family in which pups go solitary after a year.
They have crystals embedded into their body that absorbs moonlight and can light up in the dark or when agitated.
